Coming home doesn't mean the battle is over. The Department of Defense estimates that 22 military members, veterans and/or family members commit suicide every day. If you or someone you know is suffering from PTSD, call the Veterans Crisis Line at 988 then press 1.

Teamwork ~ Leadership ~ Commitment
Lt. J. Allison O'Daniel VFW Post 475 has been serving veterans in the greater Newark community for over 100 years. We are devoted to our motto: "No One Does More for Veterans." We actively assist veterans and currently serving members and their families. We are working tirelessly to ensure the VFW will remain viable for future generations. Our innovative community service programs bolster our neighborhoods and create an atmosphere of comradeship and well-being for all those involved. We encourage and foster patriotism in America's youth with several great programs. Here at VFW Post 475, we strive to provide a family-oriented environment where love of country and community can flourish.
